Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center

The Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center offers an enjoyable and professional Hippotherapy and therapeutic riding program for children and adults ages 2 years and older in private and small groups for 30 minute or 60 minute lessons. Our lessons are instructed by certified PATH International Instructors (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) or a therapist trained in Hippotherapy. We offer equine-assisted therapies and Hippotherapy to children and adults who are living with physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral and learning challenges related to various forms of trauma, developmental delays, autism, cerebral palsy, blindness, deafness, down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, batten disease, and cancer. OUR VISION After years of providing therapeutic riding services to the physically and mentally challenged, the Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center was founded as an extension of Mark Reyner Stables with a very strong and extensive background in the understanding of horses and the challenges of providing services to both disabled and able-bodied individuals. OUR MISSION The Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center is a nonprofit organization committed to delivering the highest quality therapeutic riding and specialized therapy to individuals with special needs. We provide equine-assisted activities to those facing physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral and learning disabilities.
