International Angelman Day

Angelman Syndrome is a disorder on the maternal UBE3A gene in the 15th chromosome. It is rare and often diagnosed early in childhood with symptoms such as poor balance, delayed walking, gastrointestinal issues, and seizures. Despite their difficulties, people with Angelman Syndrome are generally happy and are frequently found smiling and laughing.
