Spinal Muscular Atrophy Awareness

Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a neurodegenerative condition that is hereditary and is caused by a deficiency of the motor neuron protein SMN which affects the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord, causing problems with eating, breathing, crawling, walking.
