Angelman Syndrome (AS) is a rare chromosomal condition that affects about 500,000 world wide. It causes developmental delays that can begin by 6-12 months old. Despite possible issues with balance, digestion, seizures, and speech people with AS are generally very happy and social. Today we celebrate every person with AS and celebrate the joy they bring to our lives.
