Join us for a free CPR class with an experienced instructor from world-renowned Craig Hospital! Learn how to save a life!
In the Friends and Family CPR class you will learn the lifesaving skills of CPR, choking relief, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use for infants, children and adults. The class is ideal for caregivers, grandparents, and anyone over 16 interested in learning how to save a life.
Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the American Heart Association’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, providing students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
Students will be provided with a manual to take home to review and refresh their skills even after the course is over. A course completion certificate is provided after the class, but the certificate will not meet most requirements for a job or for entry into a course of study in a medical related field.
Register early! Class size is limited.
The class instructor will be John Thiessen, Respiratory Therapy Educator at Craig Hospital. John has been a Respiratory Therapist for 10 years, and he was a firefighter for 15 years prior to that. He has many years of experience in critical care and dealing with emergency situations.
