| Join Accelerated Schools as we bring this classic holiday story to life for the season!
This year we are hosting our holiday event and are thrilled to open our wonderful building up to the community to enjoy the season of celebration and kindness with one another.
Here are some quick facts about our upcoming event.
- All proceeds from this event will go to our Student Scholarship Fund. This fund allows us (Accelerated Schools) to provide a scholarship to a family who needs it in the coming year. Last year we raised $1,300 for our scholarship fund just from the Silent Auction alone! This year we are hoping to triple it!!
- Staff members, and some students will be present and dressed up in Victorian era costumes.
- This event is free to enter, however, we will have punch cards available to allow you to “purchase” crafts, activities, food, and beverages throughout the event in exchange for your punch card tickets. To obtain a punch card you will go to the front office upon entry to the event.
- We will have snacks and beverages available for “purchase” via the punch card.
- There will be several crafts and/or activities occurring throughout the building during the event (such as cookie decorating, candle decorating, and origami tree making).
- There will be live music played by several generous volunteers.
- Our annual Silent Auction will be held on the first floor in one of our beautiful classrooms.
- We have lots of new auction additions to the Silent Auction this year, including several free entry passes to places such as Comedy Works, Denver Zoo, and Loveland Ski Resort to name a few.
Please note, this is not planned as a networking event. This is planned to be a fun, family-friendly celebration. While we will not have vendor tables set up, we do invite and encourage all our wonderful networking connections to come and enjoy the afternoon with us. You are welcome to bring business cards and share those as you meet and chat with families and other professionals at this festive celebration.
