Paraprofessional Appreciation Day

Paraprofessionals assist teachers and perform a variety of tasks that promote education. More importantly to those of us who hand our children over to them every day, they support kiddos with special needs to allow them to participate in activities in school that may be beyond their abilities on their own. They may help with reading or sorting blocks or feeding or accessing the playground. Their tasks are innumerable and they are essential to our kiddos growing and developing in a school setting.
