The Colorado Intentional Communities Research Project is looking for community members to join a focus group geared toward creating a neuro-inclusive intentional community in multi-family housing specifically to be accessible to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The research project is aiming to help influence housing policy. By sharing your thoughts in upcoming focus groups, you’ll improve emerging neuro-inclusive housing opportunities and support the rights of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This project will:
- Provide policy recommendations for future intentional community development in Colorado.
- Look at intentional communities across the country for best practices.
- Estimate the needed number of housing units per county in Colorado.
- Capture feedback from people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Please fill out this form if you are interested in participating in a Focus Group in your area or virtually. The project will use the responses to identify locations and day/times for Focus Group offerings. Feel free to email Desiree@NeuroInclusiveHousingSolutions.com with questions about this research. Thank you to the Colorado Developmental Disabilities Council (CDDC) for funding this research study. |
